On Wednesday, May 17, Sal Cannizzaro, CEO of Immediate Care Walk-In Management LLC and Dr. Daniel Reizis PT, DPT, NASM-CPT, founder of Advanced Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation hosted the official ribbon cutting of their joint facility located at 561 US Hwy. 1 South, Unit E4 in Wick Shopping Plaza. The facility opened in January 2017 and is one of the collaborated locations between Immediate Care Walk-In Management LLC and Advanced PMR.
“Edison is our first of several urgent care centers where physical therapy rehabilitation services are offered conveniently at the same location by Advanced Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation,” said Sal Cannizzaro. “This relationship is formed for the benefit of patients, delivering efficient urgent care, lab work, x-ray services, durable medical equipment, physical therapy and acupuncture. When injured or sick, patients may be taken care of at one place, one-time, with all of these healthcare services.”
“Our Edison center location is experiencing steady, increasing patient counts as we realize exposure in the surrounding community through involvement in the chamber of commerce and other local organizations supporting the business community of Edison,” Sal continued.
Greeted by a red carpet entrance and gift bags, guests included Assemblywoman Nancy Pinkin, Assemblyman Robert Karabinchak, Edison Council President Michael Lombardi and distinguished council members Joseph Coyle, Robert Diehl, Leonard Sendelsky, Ajay Patil and representative, Thomas Lynch of the Senator’s office. EdisonTV, multiple press outlets and members of the community were also in attendance.
Councilman and Executive Director of the Edison Chamber of Commerce, Joseph Coyle delivered welcoming remarks, followed by a statement from Sal Cannizzaro who was then presented with a Resolution on behalf of the Edison Council for his entrepreneurship. Dr. Daniel Reizis concluded with an introduction of the sponsors who participated in the ribbon cutting. Guests then proceeded outside for the cutting of the ribbon, followed by tours of the facility, a reception with hors d’oeuvres and a raffle.
