On Thursday, August 3, Immediate Care Medical Walk-In of Brick hosted a ribbon cutting for their newest location in Brick Township. This is the first joint facility for Sal Cannizzaro, CEO of Immediate Care Walk-In Management LLC, Dr. Daniel Reizis PT, DPT, NASM-CPT, founder of Advanced Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Dr. Klara Reizis Pharm. D., R.Ph, owner of Modern Medicine RX. The multi-purpose facility is located at 8 Brick Plaza, off NJ State Route 70.
Immediate Care opened in Brick this past April and offers patients a convenient option for urgent care, physical therapy and rehabilitation, and retail pharmacy. With on-site medical treatment, physical therapy, acupuncture and filling of prescriptions, patients have the ability to take full advantage of the versatile facility in a single location.
“The community is definitely excited about our model in Brick, there is no other like it in the state.” said Sal Cannizzaro. “Within minutes of your arrival, you’re registered to be treated by our medical team, who can treat your injury/illness, prescribe whatever medications and/or durable medical equipment may be needed and make any necessary referrals for physical therapy a patient may need on the spot. Expedient, convenient, high-quality care – everything is under one roof here at Immediate Care/Advanced PMR/Modern Medicine Pharmacy. Our focus is on the patient experience – it’s what keeps our patients coming back.”
Mayor John G. Ducey was in attendance along with Assemblyman and Chairman of the Assembly Health Committee, Herb Conaway M.D., Assemblyman David Wolfe, and Freeholder Joseph Vicari. Also present were Brick Council President Art Halloran and Brick Council members, Jim Fozman, Paul Mummolo and Heather deJong. A resolution from Congressman Tom MacArthur’s office was given by representative, Julie Peterson. Giveaways, tours of the facility and a reception with drinks and hors d’oeuvres from Patrizia’s of Red Bank were offered after the ribbon cutting.
“I am happy to see such a beautiful facility come into this area to begin to make the plaza more upscale, but still community friendly,” said Mayor Ducey. “It is great to give our residents the convenience of a “one-stop shop” and the first of its kind.”
Immediate Care has locations throughout Central and South Jersey, including Brick, East Windsor, Edison, Hazlet, Lacey, Red Bank and Toms River. Recently voted “Best of Monmouth 2017: Best Urgent Care” by Monmouth Health & Life magazine, Immediate Care will be opening two more locations in Monmouth County, Morganville in August and Marlboro in the fall.
