On Saturday, February, 2nd CentraState Healthcare Foundation hosted their 57th Annual Celebration Ball. The Gala is held annually to celebrate those who help CentraState’s mission to encourage their community members to “Live Life Well Today, Tomorrow… Together!” This year the event was held specifically to support the Rutgers/RWJ Family Medicine Residency at CentraState in the new Freehold Family Health Center.

SFC Enterprises, Inc.’s CEO, Salvatore Cannizzaro, and VP of Construction, Frank Cannizzaro, Father and Son, were both honored at the event in recognition for their leadership and in gratitude for making the Freehold Family Health Center a reality for CentraState. Both Salvatore and Frank were proud to receive such an outstanding achievement and are incredibly grateful to CentraState for the honor.

The Cannizzaro’s are privileged to be a part of this project with the Visiting Nurse Association Health Group, CentraState Medical Center, VNACJ Community Health Center and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Salvatore Cannizzaro says, “I’m incredibly passionate about projects that benefit the community. Having the opportunity to develop and be a part of this comprehensive healthcare project which will make a difference in many ways to the community is an honor that I’m eminently grateful for.”

The building, previously a local supermarket, was purchased in early 2018 and has undergone extensive exterior and site improvements. Additionally, they completed a fit out of the entire interior to the new medical/office space. This 25,000 square foot facility located at 597 Park Avenue in Freehold Borough helps ensure that the location will be convenient to those who would benefit most from its services. The Freehold Medical Arts Complex will contain the primary care FQHC, academic offices for the Rutgers RWJ Family Medicine Residency Program at CentraState, and the administrative offices of VNA Health Group’s Children and Family Health Institute.

SFC Enterprises, Inc is proud to announce that the Freehold Medical Arts Complex is scheduled to open in March 2019. Sal Cannizzaro and the team at SFC Enterprises are delighted to look towards the future and longevity of this much needed community project.
