Union, NJ — Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services, a program of Bridgeway Rehabilitation Services, Inc., hosted a ribbon cutting event to celebrate the grand opening for key stakeholders on Wednesday, February 23rd at the Clermont Terrace facility. The 25,000 square foot multi-use facility, built by SFC Enterprises, Inc., will house Bridgeway’s headquarters, including administrative services and direct care clinical services vital to the community.

The existing building, which was previously a private academy, sat vacant for many years. Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services acquired the building in 2020 and SFC Enterprises, Inc. began interior and exterior renovations to accommodate Bridgeway’s multi-uses. The scope of the project included all new state of the art mechanicals, additional bathrooms to accommodate personnel, power upgrades from PSE&G, new roofing, and extensive exterior infrastructure work. Now that the building is code compliant and up to the 2022 standards, Bridgeway Rehabilitation Services can operate out of their state-of-the-art facility to help them continue serve the community.

“The new facility demonstrates Bridgeway’s investment in a new model of integrated behavioral healthcare delivery and will have a significant impact on residents of Union County and the surrounding area,” said Cory Storch, President and CEO of Bridgeway. “The co-location of these services under one roof will enable us to advance and expand our programs to reach even more of the most underserved populations in our community, people with behavioral health conditions.”

SFC Enterprises, Inc. values having the opportunity to build for organizations such as Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services, that impact the community so greatly. Frank Cannizzaro, Executive Vice President of SFC Enterprises, Inc. stated, “Building throughout COVID-19 proved to be challenging with labor and supply chain issues but with thinking outside the box and having a great support system from the team at Bridgeway, SFC was able to bring this project to the finish line and I am very proud to have been a part of that moment within the community.”
